"Tell me what you eat, and I will tell you what you are", Anthelme Brillat-Savarin
I watched WHI the other day when a famous Malaysian chef reminded us, the viewer to always cook for the family. Because a good, healthy, and halal food will create a good and happy family. Somehow, it is related to "Kerberkatan Allah SWT". I truly like his idea which has inspired me to cook more often.
Actually, I love, love, love cooking (not baking) so much and I used to cook a lot when I was abroad. But since I'm back for good and knowing Malaysia Tanah Airku is kaya with variety of foods, who wants to cook right. Especially when you just cook for 2 people. Err actually 1, coz my hubby is always on diet. He eats cereal and milk only. Kidding ;p
Anyway, before this, I only cook during weekdays coz for me, weekend is meant for dining out and shopping time. But last two weekends, we didn't hang out at the mall nor having breakfast/lunch/dinner outside at all except for the tea time. Quite impressive and surprisingly I love it! I never thought that lepak-ing at home, have a good walk and play at the park, cook good food during weekend will be so much fun . In fact, it gives much satisfaction.
Go healthy life y'all!
p/s: I just wonder how some people can snap picture everytime before they eat. Me, always forgot to snap one when I see food! Lol.
