Soto and Baby

Yesterday is one of the best days in my life. I didnt go to work accompanying hubby and my best friend here at my home. We didnt do anything, lots of gossips and of course, cookings. I havent done any big cookings for such a long time since pregnant so I consider cook for 5 people is a big cooking. How lazy I am now. Seriously. The symptoms should be blamed for that. Macam biasalah. Haha.

We started cook Soto around 4 pm after bought the ingredients and what not. Then, at 5, I left Ezat and Fiza at home while me and hubby went for the 2nd checkup. I've made appointment at 5 pm but the gynae came late an hour later. But luckily 15mins after that was my turn already. I was a bit anxious and nervous right before the checkup. Why? First, I was going to see my baby who is getting bigger and active day by day. Always, kicks and punches me. Sometimes those tiny kicks and punches make me laugh like it's so funny. I'm so happy I guess. Hehe. Second, I would like to know whether the baby is a he or a she. I always dream and think that the baby is a she. So to confirm that, I was a bit anxious then. But, a few hours before, the hubby told me, "I think if the baby is a boy, it will turn out to be cute too. I will bring him to the mosque and will wear him a jubah with kopiah." Wow. I like the idea too. Soo cute. Ok2. Then I dont really mind whether it's a boy or girl as long as the baby is healthy. But still, I adore baby girls shoes and dresses. Too cute lah!!

So, my turn was begun. The gynae asked me few questions to start with and some basic check ups to make sure I'm healthy. I gained 2 kgs btw. Hoho. But that's an ideal weight to gain 2 kgs every months from now.

Then, the to-meet-the-baby time. Jeng Jeng Jeng...

OMG, the baby is way much much bigger than the first scan which is 7 weeks ago. Almost fill up my belly. Huhu. I could see clearly the head, the face, those tiny hands and feet, owh and the bones too. Ok, this too emotional expression when the scan is just a 2D scan. Hehe. And guess what, the baby is so active like the hands and feets are always here and there. But luckily, the baby doesnt suck the thumb.

After a few measurements and checkings, then the he or she time is coming. Jeng Jeng Jeng..

The gynae warned me, usually, the best view is at 5 months but if I'm lucky enough, I could see now. Ok, I know but just let this anxious mommy knows whether can see or not. So, with just a few seconds, then the doctor said, "Ok, ni peha dia, ni pun peha dia, kita tengok tengah, nampak apa?? Jeng Jeng.. Be-bird dia." Ok doctor tak delah secool itu nak cakap jeng jeng. Haha. Ya Allah, super comel that Be-Bird I tell you. Tercacak kecik je. And guess what, he was like terkangkang while the kaki is always here and there. Keh keh keh. I was like to laugh and cry at the same time. Sangat terharu, joyful and wow. Gosh, I'm having a baby boy. I know it's not really confirmed yet till next month but at least it's a big possible that he is a boy. Hehe. Afterall, I love you so much and the daddy too;)

Finish. Enough said for the baby story. The way back home was terrible with hujan lebat and traffic jam of course and took me 1 and a half hour to reach home. By the time, we arrived, the Soto was cooked already and it is super yummy. Sangat lapar plis. But kesian Ezat and Fiza masak berdua. Huhu. I love you two!! Thanks guys. ;)

So the day was end with a happy eating and chit chat moment. What a wonderful day!:)
