Nota Cinta Ku: Our Trip: Genting Highlands

It was literally an unplanned short trip. It took us 30mins of discussion before deciding to pay for the hotel right after that. Haha. Itupun after few times of rejections before this. At last, agree jugak. Ya, you know me, "Genting-tempat maksiat (casino)-accident masuk gaung", of cos I'm a bit paranoid. Since it is hubby's early birthday treat, oklah. Cincailah. ;p

We went there on Sunday morning, two days before the Labour Day. The weather was nice. Alhamdullilah. Saya berdoa siang malam kot, jangan hujan untuk dua hari tu. Hehe.

The last time I went there was ages ago, about 5-6 years ago. So I was expecting something new at the theme park. But, nah. Most of the games are still the same and some looked rusty and old. If you have been to Gold Coast (Movie World or Dream World), USS, or even Disneyland, Genting Theme Park is just a small piece of those mentioned theme parks. But afterall, we did have fun too. Especially hubby and that little boy.

Hubby bought the outdoor and indoor tickets. But we didnt even play any indoor games at all. Such a waste. So the tips here. Buy the outdoor tickets first, then only you buy the indoor one if you think necessary. The games are so similar to the outdoors, mind you. The tickets are all day passes. So you can get in and out sesuka hati as long as you have the tagged on your wrist.

Walaupun I said the theme park is small, tapi penat jugak lah. Lenguh-lenguh kaki malam tu. Tapi mungkin jugak sebab bersilat and berkejaran dengan si budak kecik. He didnt want to stop playing all the games ok. Mengamuk sampai tertidur. Haha. Sabo jelah mak!

Hubby experienced the Genting Sky Diving. That is new. But he had to pay extra RM38 for that after discounted sebab beli indoor ticket. Kalau tak, the actual price is RM50. Extra RM18 for the DVD. Yup, they capture the video while you are doing that. We also can watch it live. Aidan got excited watching his Abah doing that sky diving thingy. Teringin lettew! Hehe

We spent the night at Theme Park Hotel. It was located beside the theme park. Sangat dekat. Kalau rasa nak terkencing kat theme park, lari balik hotel pun sempat. Hehe. For the rate that I paid for the Deluxe Room, it was so comfortable and cheap. The room has 2 beds; 1 double bed and 1 single bed. So spacious for three of us. The only comment for this hotel is the bed is springy. Baring rasa spring ok. Tak best langsung. Oh and the hotel restaurant adalah meragukan kehalalannya. So maybe you can opt for no breakfast rate. There are so many restaurants nearby. Dont worry.
